Cool jazz and ice-cold Pimm’s in one of Bloomsbury’s loveliest open-air settings – what better way to see out the English summer?
The IoIC London summer party – the annual meetup for communicators based in and around the capital – is always popular, and this year’s bash, themed ‘Last of the Summer Pimm’s’, promises to be an even funner affair.
There’s live music from Brit jazz legend Trevor Tomkins and his all-star band (Trevor, a drummer who has worked with Michael Garrick, Don Rendall, Gilgamesh, Ian Carr’s Nucleus and Giles Farnaby’s Dream Band, is bringing some of the UK’s best jazzers along).
The venue is the garden and conservatory of the Grange White Hall Hotel (next to the British Museum) at 2-5 Montague Street, London WC1B 5BU, and the event starts at 6pm.
It’s a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and for new IoIC members to meet fellow comms professionals. London committee members – including the newly elected London chair, Nada Zbirek, and Speak Media editorial director George Theohari – will be on hand to introduce you to some of London’s finest comms professionals.
