Poker faces, fond farewells and World Cup glory

Last week saw a bumper social schedule for the Speaksters, with a team bonding poker night, a farewell lunch for our account executive Nick who is moving on to pastures new and the crowning of the first ever Speak Table Football World Cup Champion on Friday. Here’s a few snaps to give you a flavour!

If you’re a keen follower of our social channels you’ll know we have a sporadic but long-running strand called ‘How an art director eats‘. Here’s the fifth installation in that series, altogether now… “Put an egg on it!”

Full House

The Speak team (plus a couple of guests) gathered to play a few friendly hands of poker on Thursday night. Tan ran out the eventual winner, with Matthew our newest member of the editorial team coming a very close second.
POKER FACE

The Table Football World Cup Final (Colombia v Spain)

Friday saw the culmination of our (slightly late-running) table football World Cup. The final was contested by Tan (Spain) and George (Colombia).

After an intense game Tan took the cup with a 6-4 victory…

And George, not quite stoic in defeat, was left to rue his missed opportunities a la Luiz.
