Daring new logo from Airbnb is right off the top shelf
The big story of the week is of course Airbnb’s new logo, which has dominated social media due to the fact that it looks like, how can I say this, balls. While this seems like a branding misstep, the amount of coverage Airbnb has received over the past week means its new logo just might be a runaway success.

Paxman’s history – will it be Evan almighty?
This week saw Newsnight announce Evan Davis as replacement for beardy know-it-all Jeremy Paxman. Despite fronting Dragon’s Den surely Davis won’t have the fire-breathing ability of housewives’ favourite, JP? Here’s a classic clip of Paxo frying the president of Coca-Cola Europe – a good demonstration of how important it is for brands to have consistent media strategies and be prepared for anything, even Paxman.
