The European Parkinson’s Disease Association (EPDA) has launched an unprecedented new initiative which will drastically improve the lives of thousands of people with Parkinson’s (PwPs) in Europe.
The initiative – named My PD Journey – unites all stakeholders involved in the management of the disease to develop comprehensive strategies that address multiple challenges in the healthcare environment including:
- the lack of existing evidence/data
- late diagnosis and referral throughout the disease progression
- inefficiencies in healthcare organisation and delivery
- the lack of multidisciplinary and integrated care for people with Parkinson’s and their families.
As a long-standing partner agency of the EPDA, Speak Media has helped with the development of the initiative’s visual identity, and we were delighted to see the logo we designed being used for the first time publicly last week.
