Content brand of the week: Morvelo, the bike brand with something for everyone

More velos? Don’t you think people will be tired of awesome bike-related content by now?


Oh… well that’s alright then – crank it up!

Morvelo is a British brand founded five years ago that makes gear and clothing for every type of cycling.

Every type? What about high-wire unicycling.

Well maybe not every type, but it has most of them covered. What’s more, it also has some cracking content!

These vids are awesome!

Well they have to be.  With such a broad-focus for their products, the content has to be all things to all cyclists too. That means competing with Rapha and their super-glossy, artsy product videos – but also sharing the same space in the world of mountain biking and BMX as the Red Bulls of this world. It’s tough out there, but Morvelo is holding its own.

Impressive for a couple of graphic designers with £500 and a dream!

It’s true that Morvelo has come from humble beginnings, but as you’d expect from a pair of designers, where Morvelo outstrips the competition is its visual social content. The brand’s Instagram page is heaving with awesome pics, with a healthy mix of product photos and others that conveys the brand’s love of cycling culture.

Morvelo is also good at keeping on top of social trends and has leveraged the popular #tbt (Throwback Thursday) hashtag seen on Twitter, Insta and Facebook to promote content that its audience loves. Case in point, this vintage shot of some weird Scalextric / roller racing hybrid.
