It seems a major cultural event doesn’t pass these days without loads of brands trying to jump in on Twitter and get a share of the public’s attention. Last week’s BRIT awards were no different. Here’s some of the funnier tweets.

You know me, I love a bargain!

VW has been making ads about how surprisingly cheap its Polo model is for a while now, but this clever short flips that idea on its head by telling us that the Tiguan, the brand’s all-action SUV model, is actually reassuringly expensive.

Our favourite of the classic Orange pre-movie cinema ads, this spot ran around the same time as the 6th movie in the Star Wars series was released. We’re just glad Jar-Jar Binks didn’t make an appearance – talk about ‘ruining your movie’!
