Funny or Die is one of the world’s biggest humour websites. It hosts and commissions original content from performers, known and unknown, from stand-ups starting out to co-founder Will Ferrell and fan favourite Zach Gallifianakis. Of course with online popularity comes monetisation and brands are starting to put out more sponsored content on FoD and similar sites. This video sponsored by Under Armour features Tom Brady (NFL star quarterback) being harassed by a super-irritating store assistant. We like it because it skirts round the dangerous pitfalls of being too contrived or corny that many brands fall foul of when they try to make us laugh.

This video split the Speak studio straight down the middle when we dug it up from the archives, originally aired as a TV spot but eventually getting more than 10million views on YouTube, we can’t decide whether it’s hair-raisingly hilarious or comically creepy. What do you think?
