Kamoge – tomato juice for men!
What do Joey Tribbiani and Ryan Giggs have in common (apart from a love of the ladies)? They’ve both done bizarre commercials for Japanese brands, that’s what. Watch out for Ryan Giggs’ especially pained face as he glugs down a glass of the red stuff – reminiscent of Bill Murray’s character in ‘Lost in Translation’ cheerlessly sipping Suntory scotch.
We know the Man U ad isn’t meant to be funny. But we also know that when we watched it we laughed so hard a little bit of tomato juice squirted out of our nose.
Grabbing a little afternoon delight
As part of Foster’s attempts to slap its brand on virtually everything British and comedy related the lager brand commissioned this gloriously silly series, starring Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer. Available exclusively online and tapping into the finely-tuned sense of the surreal that Reeves and Mortimer have honed over 20 years in the business together the series was a major success. Some reviewers even going as far as to herald the series as the future of comedy. Caution, contains toilet humour.
