You’ve got (hate)mail!

Mr Bingo Beer

Whoever created the label for this beer is clearly an irascible individual, but based on illustrator Mr Bingo’s latest exhibition people really do seem to like him when he’s angry. We turned up uninvited to the launch of his ‘Hate Mail’ exhibition at KK Outlet to stoke the fires of fury and find out what all the aggro was about.

The simple premise of Hate Mail, borne out of a drunken tweet, is that in exchange for a one off payment Mr Bingo will illustrate and send you a vintage postcard with your personalised, profanity-riddled message. You might wonder who would ever pay to be abused, but the response has been hatefully positive. 500 postcards later, Mr Bingo has launched ‘Hate Mail’  (the book) – a collection of his most outrageous postcards to date.

Hate Mail is running until 29th June at KK Outlet, Hoxton Square, London
