The Independent Achievers Academy (IAA) is a development programme for indy retailers in the UK, and its Gala Awards Dinner – which recognises the industry’s leading lights – took place last night at The Grange near Tower Bridge, London, with more than 300 sponsors, partners and finalists in attendance.
We’re pleased to have played a small part in the success of the event, having worked closely with the IAA team at Newtrade Publishing (which runs the event as part of its customer engagement strategy) – and event manager Sarah Dugdale (@SweetDugdale) – to produce all branded materials from the pre-event brochure to invitations, banners and other print/digital branding on the night.
It’s always nice to be recognised so we were pleased as punch to see the tweet from Sarah that said the collateral ‘looked awesome’ and had ‘raised the bar’. Only problem for us is how to we raise it again next year? We’ll let the art director puzzle over that… meanwhile, we’ll raise a glass to a great night and to all the IAA team, sponsors and of course the retailers who got their names in lights. Roll on IAA Gala 2013!
