Shining a light on new English folk music

Exciting news has just reached Speak Towers of the official unveiling of its latest branding project – Spotlight England – at the Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow.

Spotlight England, the brainchild of the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS), is aimed at ‘shining a light’ on new English folk music and creating a strong, distinct brand that can be exported worldwide.

The first issue of the promotional newspaper we produced for the campaign was distributed at a Spotlight England trade stand at the festival last weekend (pictured below), with a banner bearing our newly minted logo also on display.

Expect more news soon – the shortlisted artists, who stand to win special showcase gigs at next year’s Celtic Connections, should be announced in the next month – and we’ll be supporting the campaign with more branding/design stuff.
